Ice Age 3 showing rescheduled due to cold weather in Weston – In a bit of irony, the feature film Ice Age 3 originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 at Weston Regional Park has been rescheduled to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 due to the cold weather advisory. Professional Theatre for Children presents Cinderella in Weston – The musical Cinderella takes all the traditional elements of the original story and adds all the humor, action and romance of the Disney film. Join the Fairy Godmother at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 at the Cypress Bay Theater (18600 Vista Park Blvd. in Weston) as she takes on the infamous Evil Stepmother to assure that Cinderella and Prince Charming are reunited for the happiest of endings. Tickets are available at the Weston Community Center at $10 in advance or $15 at the theater box office the day of the show.Parking is free.
Weston library collecting donations – Donations are being accepted for the Weston Friends of the Library Book Store located inside the lobby at the Weston Branch Library, 4205 Bonaventure Blvd.
They are looking for children chapter books. Books can be dropped off at the store.
